Darl & Kaye’s Story
We call Chandler home. Last year we started to consider solar as a way to help hedge against future energy rate increases. Energy costs in terms of gas and electricity have both increased. It is out of control.
A few companies we spoke with were all the same. They were overpriced and pressured me to buy. Citrus did not try to sell us on anything, but rather wanted to help us reduce costs. They were more of an advocate for us. We soon realized we didn’t need what the other solar companies quoted.
The quoting process was easy and straightforward. I got a quote online and reserved it. I don’t like talking to salespeople, so I loved the online experience. It was installed within a couple weeks.
The crew was very thoughtful and walked me through where they were going to run the conduit and electrical boxes. The best part is that everything was hidden. I have to look at my house everyday (so do my neighbors), so it’s important that it looks good.
We tend to choose local businesses over national ones in our daily shopping routine. It’s nice to know which businesses are part of and contribute to the community.
We’re making it easier for our neighbors to push back against rising energy costs. East Valley energy prices are expected to rise by 8% this fall.
